N,N,N-Tributyl-1-butanaminium 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,-nonafluoro-1-butanesulfonate (TBBS) is a nonionic surfactant that is used in uncured carbon nanotube coatings. TBBS has a low molecular weight and contains hydroxyl groups and quaternary ammonium salt groups. It also has a high dielectric constant and can be dissociated by alkali metals. The average particle diameter of TBBS is approximately 10 nm.
